Donald Connolly the Head Professional at The Riverside Country Club in Saint John, New Brunswick, has been named Callaway Golf Staff Professional of the Year.

Don started his career at The Riverside Country Club at the age of 14, where he worked on the range, in the back shop, and then as the starter. He took over the Head Professional role in 2016 from his father Jim Connolly, who had been the club’s Head Professional for 38 years. Don exemplifies Callaway Golf’s high company standards, with a commitment to doing work that is demonstrably superior and pleasingly different. His Passion for the game is seen in his devotion to the course, and it’s Members.

“We couldn’t have picked a more appropriate Callaway Canada Staffer of the Year,” said Bruce Carroll, Callaway Golf Canada General Manager. “ There is not a better golf professional in the business! I’m sure his father is looking down on him with a huge smile. Don truly is a chip off the ole block!”
